These messages (known as CID Net Utilization Events – CUEs) happen entirely over the internet and use data, similar to a cellphone plan. Restrict Who Inmates can Message
The CID Net Mail App lets an inmate trade email message CUEs with a contact using touch screen devices and/or tablets. All messages are recorded and can be reviewed in a conversation format by correctional officers for investigative purposes.
Powerful Oversight of Conversations
Monitor Mail CUEs between an inmate and contact or search for conversations based on certain criteria. Every CUE can be approved or declined before it reaches its intended recipient. CID Net gives jail staff and investigators unfettered access to all message communication, strengthening intelligence-gathering efforts. Staff can also save Mail CUEs and compile them into reports.
Connecting Through More Than Words
Contacts have the option to upload pictures to share with an inmate upon staff approval. If a contact sends a picture CUE containing lewd or other prohibited imagery, Cidnet’s artificial intelligence content moderation will notify jail staff of the infraction. In lieu of or along with visitation, picture CUEs help inmates maintain connections with their support system.
